about a small but brave adolescent who simply refuses to deny his
past for the sake of a passport into the gang. In the end an old
Zulu man - whom a lesser boy would have jettisoned for the sake
of possible acceptance - helps him fight back.

be, but told with a sensitivity so rare that it is bound to gain
